We purchased Noble Captain from the Tattersalls February Sale. He was too green to do himself justice on debut and the heavy ground didn't suit either. On second start at Chelmsford he was well found in the market and showed he had plenty of speed and ability despite the race not being run to suit.

He has strung several competitive places together and has got his head in front twice at Newcastle. The strapping son of Territories looks set to improve.
